This half-day trip is ideal for first-timers, families, or those on a tighter schedule. The journey to our prime fishing spots takes about 30 minutes each way, giving you approximately three hours of dedicated fishing time. It’s the perfect introduction to the joys of sea angling.
The Angler’s Day Out: (10 Hours)
In contrast, our full-day charter is designed for the keen angler. This 10-hour trip allows us to venture further into the Thames Estuary, spending more time over the most productive marks to maximise your chances of a great catch. This is the ultimate Essex fishing experience.

10-Hour Trip:
*Minimum Hire Charge: £700.00 for up to 6 passengers. This works out to approximately £11.50 per hour per person.
*Larger Groups: An additional £100.00 per person for groups exceeding 6 passengers, up to a maximum of 10 passengers.
*Offshore Distance: This trip typically goes 20-25 miles offshore.
4-Hour Trip:
*Minimum Hire Charge: £500.00 for up to 6 passengers. This works out to approximately £20.00 per hour per person.
*Larger Groups: An additional £80.00 per person for groups exceeding 6 passengers, up to a maximum of 10 passengers.
*Offshore Distance: This trip typically goes 5-10 miles offshore.
Individual Public Sea Fishing Trips:

* The cost is £90.00 per person, which is equivalent to £9.00 per hour. This price is based on a minimum of 8 anglers. We can accommodate a maximum of 10 anglers, though we generally find that 7-8 anglers provides a more comfortable experience on board.
* Duration: Each trip lasts 10 hours.
* Departure Location: We depart from Leigh Marina, High Street, Leigh-On-Sea, Essex, SS9 2ES, UK.
* Baits: Individual walk-on spaces include frozen baits appropriate for the season (e.g., squid, herring, mackerel).
* Live baits such as ragworm, lugworm, peeler crabs, or hermit crabs can be arranged upon request at an additional cost.
* To order live bait, please contact the Skipper at least 72 hours (3 days) before your trip.
* Please note that live bait orders MUST be paid for in advance and are non-refundable, as our bait suppliers require payment upon order.
* A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date and place. The outstanding balance will then be due 7 days before your sea fishing trip.

Equipment, Bait & What to Expect:
* You are welcome to bring your own fishing equipment onboard our vessel. If you need gear, we offer rod hire for £20.00 per person. In the event a rod or reel is broken or lost due to misuse or neglect, a replacement charge will apply: £200.00.
* We can also arrange for fresh bait to be ready for you upon request at an additional charge. Please give us advance notice prior to your sea fishing trip so we can ensure everything is prepared for you.
* While a catch is never guaranteed on any fishing trip, the Thames Estuary is known for its variety, including species like Seabass, Starry Smoothhound, Tope, Dover Sole, Whiting, Flounder, Codling, and Skate depending on the season.
- Please note In the UK, recreational sea anglers can keep a maximum of two sea bass per person per day during the open season. There is no general “2 sea fish” limit that applies to all species, as regulations are species-specific and can also vary by local region. Provided they are over the legal size.
