Outstanding service from start to finish! While sailing around Southend and the Thames Estuary, my engine cut out and left us stranded. I contacted Brownes Thames Estuary Boat Trips, and Skipper Angus came out to rescue us without hesitation. He safely towed my sailboat back into Leigh Marina with absolute precision.

Twelve of us set off on a dry Friday morning to see the Red Sand forts and the wreck of SS Richard Montgomery. We were all looking forward to it and we were not disappointed. Angus was our skipper and he was calm confident and knowledgable. His commentary alongside the amazing sights made this a memorable fun trip. For poor sailors I would suggest a seasick tablet before embarking as you feel the swell especially on the homeward journey against the tide where we all got wet! Waterproofs a must. The red forts are a haunting relic of WWII they look almost alien but you get a sense of what it must have been in those dark days. The unexploded cargo of the Montgomery wreck is frighting and Angus brought us up to speed with developments quite frighting really. We all thoroughly enjoyed our day and all came away with some great memories and pics, well worth the money and the soaking.
